WEEKLY UPDATE

Happy New Year! 2024 is here and we are very much looking forward to it with you!

There has been a monumental amount of rain. Meetings are being abandoned which is making race planning very tricky. We don't have a huge amount of horses that want heavy ground, so we need to be patient, but there will be plenty of opportunities around the corner. The snow drops are out and the daffodils are poking through the ground. I always have them around the yard, so that we get a reminder to keep going and spring is nearing!

We had a lovely run from Pure Gold at Taunton, she was a cheap buy at Tattersalls as she had lost her form. The staff have taught her to jump and settle and turned her around into a nice prospect.

I am keen to keep buying juvenile hurdlers. We have four more to run this season. Previously we have done well with the likes of Jersey Grey for Racehorse Ownership and Thahab Ifraj for the Dunnitalls and I am keen to repeat what works well.
