The news in racing is that there will be a debate at the parliament of Westminster on February 26th into betting affordability checks. I am really pleased that the petition has forced a debate. As it should not be underestimated how affordability checks have affected the industry.

At University I studied politics, the affordability checks have gone too far and create a Nanny State. Whilst I agree with reasoning behind banning betting with credit cards; that in itself should suffice with no further restrictions needed.
Anyway enough of that!!!!!
Yard News... I am pleased to let you all know that Ashton has accepted my offer to become Assistant Trainer. The majority of you will have met Ashton at the races and I am delighted that she will now be full time with us.
