Alex Dunn Racing Weekly Report (11th-18th July)
Introducing to you the new weekly newsletter from Alex Dunn Racing giving you a more improved insight and a more personal experience from West Buckland. This shall be a weekly roundup of all the weeks’ runners, new developments and an improved insight into the day to day experiences within the yard. It shall also feature a one off mystery column each week, starting from next week to keep the experience fresh.
Round Up of runners
We have had five runners this week and had 3 top 4 placings: De Little Engine 3rd; Torrent Des Mottes 2nd and French Mix finishing 4th at Beverley.
This week special mention must go to De Little Engine who once again ran his heart out to this time be 3rd, being only beaten by ¾ of a length at Wolverhampton and who’s form now reads in his last 3 runs 113 and winnings of £7117.86 from those 3 runs, not bad for a £5000 purchase in March!
Torrentes Des Mottes finished 2nd of 7 at Southwell and French Mix finished 4th for new owners Mr & Mrs G Welch at Beverley which made the long trip of 537 mile round trip worth the miles.
We also ran Kublai and Millen Dollar Man at Newton Abbot and Worcester this week and look forward to returning to these tracks with a bit more luck next time.
It has been a very busy week this week at Alex Dunn Racing with the purchase of multiple horses, with some holding entries this coming week. We at West Buckland, are always looking to the future and this evident with the purchase of some younger horses.
